1. Approximately 700 ties will be installed
by opening day.
2. Work on two of the White Pass cars
continues. Tables are being installed in two of the
former White Pass Cars to accommodate passengers on
our wine and appetizer trains. Lighting has also
been installed in the cars along with 6 operating
windows per car.
3. Locomotive #1203 is scheduled to receive a new
relay switch on Tuesday to fix a problem in the fuel
and engine control circuit
4. Restrooms and depots have been cleaned and
prepared for the official opening, Saturday, May 23.
5. The Loop will be hosting school groups Monday
through Friday with trains scheduled to depart at
11:15 daily.
